Just read a short and sweet book on Misprints. It was mildly interesting, but it would have been nicer to actually see the printed errors (in their original form), instead of the author’s rewriting of them. It’s like hearing about an accident from a third party. Similarly, reading typos from some paper is okay, but the essence of the printed layout (and the other cues on the time from the subject matter, look of the surrounding type) is lost.  How sad, because seeing/reading the originals would have been much more entertaining.   maybe if it ever gets reprinted… The subject matter okay, but it could have been much more entertaining…
