Just finished reading “The Wisdom of Crowds” and it had a lot of interesting viewpoints. I was kind of skeptical at first, but it has really helped me understand some effects of why societies are in general, good at weeding out bad ideas. The problems of undue influence, eg. from a biased media, or having a leader who misleadingly collect, but willfully ignore wisdom, are problems that our society and many companies will have to solve if they are going to be successful. Although it was a bit wordy, lengthy toward the end, it was in general a very good read, and gave me a lot to talk to people about at parties.   I think the problems with the wordiness could probably be fixed with a bit better editing, and I wish that there had been more of a solid conclusion, but it kept me going and had its interesting talking points. Thanks to Tad T for recommending this!
