The Man Who Tasted Shapes

I picked this up at one of the MIT Press booksales, and just got around to reading it. It’s quite good. so far I have learned that there are 3 myths to science:
1) Science costs money –>you can do science on a shoestring
2) Science is about experiments –> science is about ideas, and the experiments are secondary.
3) Science is about proving a theory –> science is about proving that a theory can be falsified.
So far this is a great read, which my professional life echoes.
